The Cannon Beach Arts Association is pleased to present the second annual exhibition honoring the life and work of the late Lynne M. Allison, a beloved local artist and member of our community. This juried exhibition celebrates the subjects and ideas that inspired Lynne’s artwork and continues her legacy through the work of contemporary artists.
2026 Theme
Natural Found Beach Objects
All mediums are welcome. Artwork may incorporate, depict, or be inspired by objects and materials found along the shoreline. We encourage artists to explore themes of time, tide, transformation, and the beauty of the coast, as well as their personal connection to the beach.
A guest juror will select the following prizes:
First Place: $1,000
Second Place: $500
Third Place: $250

Drop-off for jurying (in person): August 9, 2026
Online submission deadline: August 9, 2026 (by midnight)
Notification of acceptance: August 12, 2026
Pickup of unselected work: August 16, 2026
Exhibition dates: August 28 – September 27, 2026
Opening reception: August 28, 4:30 – 6:30 pm
