Call for Art: Lynn Allison Memorial Juried Exhibition

The Lynn Allison Memorial Exhibition invites artists to submit work for a juried show inspired by Found Beach Objects. We welcome interpretations in a wide range of media including painting, drawing, assemblage, and mixed media. Works may incorporate, depict, or be conceptually inspired by objects found along the shoreline, exploring themes of time, tide, transformation, and the beauty of the coast.

A guest juror will select First, Second, and Third Place awards, with prizes as follows:

• First Place: $1,000

• Second Place: $500

• Third Place: $250

Important Dates:

• In - Person Drop off for jurying: August 9

• Online Submission Deadline: August 9 by Midnight (Online Submission Portal: TBA)

• Pick-up of rejected work: August 14

• Exhibition dates: August 28 – September 27

• Opening reception: August 28, 4:30 – 6:30 pm

This exhibition honors Lynn Allison’s appreciation for creativity, place, and the natural world. We encourage artists of all backgrounds to submit work that reflects their personal connection to the beach and its found materials
