“Nature / Reclaimed Art Mixed Media with Miss Karen (Ages 7 and above)

$75.00

July 13 - 17 | 10 AM - 12 PM

Come join the fun of making art from things we find in nature and around the house.

Sea shells, reclaimed wood boards, driftwood and so much more. The art we’re making can easily be replicated at home over and over.

There is going to be messy art supplies (ink, paint, glue etc.) so wear play clothes that are OK to get stained. It is always more fun when we can jump in and get creative, and not worry about our clothes.

Class is suited for ages 7 and above, with the ability to follow step by step instructions, work with the group and independently.

Having left the corporate arena of 35 years, Miss Karen now pursues her happy place; living on the coast teaching a wide range of mixed media & kiln arts to children and adults alike. She believes everyone has an artsis’s heart and enjoys helping them find a medium they can express their creativity thru. Additionally, creating art experiences that help develop fine motor skills and teach process implementation to help young minds prepare for future requirements, all while having a blast and “just being themselves.” One unique challenge Miss Karen takes to heart is creating art experiences with reclaimed materials that can be found all around us. Supporting the sentiment that EARTH without ART is just EH.
