Layers of Expression: Gelli Plate Collage with Keri Domer (Grade 3 and Above)

July 14 - 18 | 1 PM - 3 PM

Join Keri Domer for an engaging kids workshop where participants will explore the creative world of printmaking using Gelli plates. In this hands-on session, children will learn the techniques to create unique, colorful prints by applying paint to a flexible Gelli plate and using various tools to design their artwork. Keri will guide participants through the process, encouraging self-expression and exploration of textures and patterns. This workshop is perfect for young artists looking to experiment and discover the joy of printmaking in a fun and supportive environment. All materials will be provided.

Keri has a Masters in Science Education, endorsements in Elementary Education K-8 and Art K-12, and has taught for 25 years. She combines professional experience with a passion for art and creative expression to create exciting opportunities for youth in our community. She also leads after school art classes, organizes an annual Student Art Show, and leads and helps organize summer art camps with Astoria Visual Arts.
