Oregon Art Day
Art in Schools Programming
HOW IT ALL GOT STARTED...
4 years ago, student founder Hayley Rollins was sitting in her 8th grade Social Studies class listening to art enthusiast and Representative Deborah Boone talk about passing a bill. With dreams and a love for art, Hayley approached Representative Boone and told her of the desire to promote art and honor local Oregonian artists. With Representative Debbie Boone and Senator Betsy Johnson, Hayley was able to be part of the legislative process lobbying for and helping pass House Bill 3042 to make April 14th Honorary Artists of Oregon Day. The bill promotes arts in the schools and is celebrated each year in April.

Our summer camps are full of creative energy and are so much fun for any age, 3 to adult! We engage local instructors that are talented working artists dedicated to teaching your child art fundamentals through beautiful and engaging projects that inspire them to creatively approach their world. Every camp includes exposure to a wide variety of art mediums while building community and connection. We also throw in some active play and an occasional bit of water, chalk, bubble, slime, and shaving cream fun.
This year check out our Adult Art Camp offerings dedicated to our life long learners 18+ in addition to our annual All Ages Art Camp with 5 Day and 3 Day morning and afternoon session classes for all ages 3+, located in beautiful Cannon Beach, Oregon.
Our 2019 brochure will list each class location and will be distributed to local schools, libraries, and community centers once registration opens. You can also stop by our Gallery to pick up a copy or download a version by clicking register for camp.
