August 21st and 22nd, 2010: Tom Stoppard's one act play—After Magritte
The Cannon Beach Gallery was transformed into a dynamic stage for multiple performances of Tom Stoppard's one act play, After Magritte. The comical farce is fast moving, a panoply of action and wit that keeps audience members guessing what exactly is happening, at least the first time around. That is why seeing the show twice is a recommended must!
Now, the troupe of five veteran actors (Paul Dueber, Brandy Hussa, Jason Hussa, Winston Laszlo, and Jack Shields) will return for a repeat performance of After Magritte. The evening event will begin with wine and appetizers, followed by a half an hour performance of After Magritte. After the play, there will be chance to engage in intelligent conversation with the cast and director while enjoying champagne and gourmet cupcakes.
Tickets are $25. ONLY 20 GUESTS per performance, with a total of four performances throughout the weekend at 5:30-7:30 PM and 8:00-9:30 PM on both Saturday and Sunday night.
